The bike path from Ospedaletti to Imperia stretches some 30 km along the coast. This path, the Pista Ciclabile, built on the former train route, is mostly flat and therefore accessible to almost any cyclist. Along the way you will enjoy fresh air and beautiful sea views, with plenty of opportunities for a snack or drink along the route. Bicycles, including electric ones, can be rented in all the villages along the path.

For cyclists seeking a challenge, the mountainous area around Bordighera offers numerous routes. Mountain bikers can enjoy the Bicknell Cycle Route, which starts in Bordighera and leads into the mountains.

Winter sports enthusiasts get what they wish for in the nearby ski resorts, with Limone in Piedmont the closest option, just 70 km from Bordighera.

Bordighera is perfect for a beach holiday. Along the promenade, the Lungomare, there are numerous beach bars where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. In Italian: “i bagni”. In Ventimiglia the market takes place on Fridays, in Bordighera you can go on Thursdays, and Sanremo welcomes you on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
